Common questions
Why does soil disposal need documentation?
Owners, municipalities and environmental consultants may ask where soil went. PCE handles soil disposal with full documentation so the paper trail is there when someone asks for it.
Does moving soil off a site need a government notification?
Sometimes. A Soil Relocation Notification is required when soil leaves a site with a current or past commercial or industrial use listed in Schedule 2 of BC’s Contaminated Sites Regulation. A qualified professional submits it at least one week before the move. There is an exemption for under 30 m³ per project, which does not apply to high-risk sites.
Can I rent equipment from PCE?
Ask about availability. PCE offers equipment rentals, skid steer service and hotshot delivery of parts, attachments and small equipment.
Do you supply sand and gravel?
Yes. Tell us the material, quantity and delivery location and we’ll price it.
